Hi, I’m Carina, I’m a BCBA at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies. I am from Co Tyrone in Ireland but first joined Rainbow while living in Liverpool. I have since returned home and now operate as part of Rainbow’s telehealth, supervision and training provision. I also support with business development and recruitment.

I have a BSc Hons degree in Psychology with diploma in Professional Practise and a MSc degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) both from Ulster University. I have 10 years’ experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities, mental health and briefly addiction issues. Over the course of my career I have implemented, supervised and trained others in; Positive Behaviour Support interventions and strategies (PBS) in residential and school settings, Intensive Behavioural therapies (EIBI/IBI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

I am passionate about building skills and independence of the individuals I have worked with, in order for them to access new experiences and reduce their support needs. I also strive to ever increase my own skills in developing and delivering training to help shape and guide the next generation of behavioural professionals.

My hope as part of the team at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies is to be able to reach as many families, individuals, schools and support services as possible to have the biggest and most meaningful impact that we can. I hope to guide, coach and support those I work with and alongside in order to provide person-centred, individualised and meaningful support.
