Organisational Behavioural Management
What is OBM?
Organisational behavioural management (OBM) is the application of behavioural science principles within organisational settings. The principles can be applied to individuals and groups within the organisation in order to improve performance. This approach works on assessing organisational needs and setting and monitoring targets to achieve business goals.
Examples of potential goals include: improving employee motivation which will then improve: – Work productivity – Skill acquisition; – and profitability.
OBM focuses on practical strategies we can use to improve the organisations environment which will in turn improve staff performance and business outcomes.
