Hi, I’m Lisa! I am very excited to have joined Rainbow Behavioural Therapies. I can’t wait to meet lots of new people.
I have been working in SEND for over 15 years and as an autism specialist teacher I have a lot of experience working with ASD. I have worked at some of the best ASC schools in the Northwest. I completed a SEND qualification in 2024 to keep myself up to date on all the relevant knowledge. I have a big passion to make children smile, be happy and thrive at life. I have a background in sigh language and have been signing since I was 6 years old. Working in teaching means I have worked alongside, speech and language therapists, physio therapists, ABA therapists, educational psychologists, occupational health therapists and more. I have gained a lot of experience in working with all kinds of SEND with children ages 3-19. After 15 years teaching in schools, I have decided to put my knowledge and experience into becoming an ABA Therapist and want to help as many children as I can.
I am 40 years old and live in the countryside with my husband, two daughters and our beautiful dachshund Merlin. We love to travel to as many different countries as we can and are very adventures. We climb mountains in our spare time and have reached the top of Ben Nevis and Mount Blanc which is the highest mountain in Western Europe.
I feel very privileged to now be on the ABA team and can’t wait to meet you all.
