Kelly
I worked in schools with children with social communication difficulties for 11 years, while bringing up my two children. During this time, I studied for my degree in Early Years Education, and post grad Psychology at the University of Chester.
Case Worker
These experiences led me to become an ABA Therapist in 2015. During the last 6 years, I have worked extensively with children from age 2 to 14, and their families, on home and school/nursery programmes, with a special interest in bringing behavioural interventions and traditional speech and language therapy interventions together, to help children to make progress with communication, and learn new skills.
Reflection
I’m now completing my MSc in ABA, with the goal of becoming a BCBA. I’m really excited to be a part of such a wonderful, supportive team like Rainbow, and look forward to the new opportunities and challenges this will bring.
