Behavioural Therapist

Georgia

Hi my name is Georgia Siner and I am behaviour therapist here at rainbow
Behavioural therapies. I have been part of rainbow for over two years now and I
am so proud to be part of the amazing team.

I have always had an interest in working with children and young people,
particularly those with special educational needs. When I found out about ABA
therapy through research and also seeing it be implemented it sparked a keen
interest in me to pursue it as a career. I have really enjoyed working with many
children and young people as well as implementing ABA techniques within their
programmes. I have enjoyed my hands on experience so much that it has
encouraged me to take my master’s degree in applied behaviour analysis which I
am currently near the end of completing.

I have completed my registered behaviour technician course and I am currently
towards the end of completing my master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
I have really enjoyed gaining more knowledge in the field of ABA and I am always
open to learn anything new I can to be the best practitioner I can be. I have
experience working as a home ABA tutor, a 1-1 in a SEN and mainstream
schools, I have absolutely loved these roles and I am enjoying continuing my
professional journey with such a great team, Rainbow Behavioural Therapies.

I am currently undertaking a master degree in Applied behaviour analysis to
further enhance my skills as an ABA Therapist. I feel it is important to
continuously develop my skills because I want to be able to continue to provide
the best support and teaching to my clients as I can. My long-term goal is to pass
my master’s degree and become a board certified Behaviour Analyst.

I would describe myself as enthusiastic, energetic, committed and trustworthy
person within my job role. With my previous experience I am calm and work
proactively under pressure. I’ve had to work with multiple different professionals
and see my self as a confidential and reliable individual. With my job I understand
circumstances and other factors can change, I will always be flexible to ensure
clients and the team around them get the very best support from myself.

Reflection

Being a behavioural therapist with Rainbow means I can work with a range of
clients and their families to provide quality support and care. This is important for
me as I always want to be doing my very best for everyone around me. Rainbow
have given me so much support and knowledge to be able to learn within my role
and enhance my professional development within the field of ABA. I look forward
to all the opportunities that arise as I continue my journey within the company and
look forward to supporting as many clients and their families as I can.
