Hi, I’m Georgia Siner, and I’m a Senior Behaviour Therapist here at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies.
I’ve been part of the Rainbow team for over two years now, and I’m incredibly proud to be working alongside such a dedicated and passionate group of professionals.
I’ve always had a deep interest in working with children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs. My journey began in childcare, working in nurseries and after-school club settings. It was during this time that I discovered my real love for supporting children and watching them grow and flourish in their own unique ways.
While I loved working in childcare, I knew I wanted to deepen my understanding and focus more specifically on the special educational needs sector. Through research, I came across Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and was fascinated by its potential. Seeing how it was implemented in real settings sparked a desire in me to pursue it as a career.
I left my nursery role and joined an independent special educational needs school that used ABA as part of its educational approach. I worked one-to-one with children across a range of age groups, supporting both their learning and behaviour through targeted interventions. This role helped me develop invaluable skills and gave me the confidence to apply for a Senior Learning Mentor position after six months. I was successful, and in that new role, I not only continued my one-to-one work with children but also began mentoring other staff. I loved being able to guide others in delivering high-quality support—and seeing how effective teaching could unlock phenomenal progress in the children we supported.
I worked closely with teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a truly holistic approach, always aiming to provide the best possible support for every child. My passion for ABA continued to grow, and I decided to take the next step: studying for my Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis while also working towards my supervised practice hours.
That’s when I found Natalie and Rainbow Behavioural Therapies.
I joined Rainbow in August 2022 and have loved every moment of my journey since. My role as a Behaviour Therapist has allowed me to support children in both school and home settings, implement ABA programmes, assist in running parent and child holiday clubs, and take part in formal assessments. Learning how to conduct these assessments alongside such knowledgeable colleagues has helped me build a strong foundation in practice that I carry with me every day.
What I love most is how Rainbow supports both our clients and our team. I’ve been given so many opportunities to learn, grow, and become the best practitioner I can be. Being part of this team means I get to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families—something that truly matters to me.
I’m excited for the future and look forward to continuing my journey with Rainbow, supporting more children and families, and further developing my skills in ABA.
