SENIOR ABA THERAPIST
Pay: £24,000.00 – £27,000.00 per year

We work at the intersection of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and trauma-informed practices – and we’re looking for a Senior Behaviour Therapist to help us grow our mission.
About the Role:
As a Senior Behaviour Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting assessment, intervention planning, service delivery, and peer coaching of other team members. You will support clients with complex needs across various settings, collaborating closely with families, schools, care settings and multidisciplinary teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong clinical skillset who is ready to step into a senior role, contribute to service development, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality behavioural support and interventions in line with ethical and evidence-based practices
- Support in assessment and discussion with behaviour support teams (including therapists and external support staff)
- Support in the development of and oversee functional behaviour assessments, positive behaviour support plans, and individualised teaching programmes
- Provide training and coaching to parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Provide training and peer-coaching to junior staff members in the team
- Collaborate with schools, social care teams, and health professionals to ensure integrated support
- Contribute to service audits, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Uphold compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming, and person-centred practices
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is not only experienced but also values-driven and passionate about equity, inclusion, and meaningful change.
Essential:
- Degree in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering behavioural interventions
- Experience working within educational or social care settings
- Strong knowledge of behavioural science and it’s applications of PBS and E/IBI, and/or ACT
- Some experience in conducting skills and functional assessments and writing reports and learning support plans
- Excellent communication and peer-support skills
- Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and person-centred practice
Desirable:
- Registered with UK-SBA or working towards certification (e.g., BCBA, UKBA(cert))
- Peer coaching or Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of curriculum planning
- Knowledge and experience of communicating and networking with external professionals, universities and providers of support
- Willingness to contribute to clinical research, training, or service development
